Key Ideas - Iron Tamariki

Key Ideas - Iron Tamariki

Cypress
Our year 8 teacher Ms Aireen gave us a text to read called "Iron Tamariki". Then after we finished reading the story and summarised the text in our reading groups we then had to write down some key ideas from the text. Here is my key information. One key idea from the text is that Mana just wanted his parents to get along with each other during his training. He wanted for both of his parents to be together and be happy. Instead of him having a growth mindset towards to marathon he put himself down.

Brodie
Iron tamariki, a text the class was given to express the key information (ideas). The main idea me and a buddy have come up with is having a growth mindset. In the text there is a boy who wants to run a marathon, but with his mum and dad training him. With his dads help he was able to finish the marathon. This is explaining that the dad had a growth, how did I find this out? With my inferring capabilities with reading. So In the story a key Idea having a growth mindset not only because the dad helped in his son, also because the son chose to keep going and trying to complete the race.

Taha Whanau
Taa Wairua
Taha Tinana
Taha Hinegaro

Brodie Whare Tapa Wha

WALT: identify factors that affect our personal, physical, social, and emotional growth. Today was very exciting. The class was given a task about out health and personal this went really well, one because I know a lot about myself, second I was listening to an inspiring song. Imagine Dragons - Counting Stars. Here are the meanings of the four walls
Taha Tiana
Te taha tinana also know has physical health is a health know for emotions and abilities. A person that can put their thoughts towards physical emotions and are also know for development.e on by them
Taha Wairua
Taha Wairua means to believe in your inner spiritual self. Having faith inside of you means believing yourself in life and trying your best to achieve your goals. Living peaceful and having a strong heart towards your ways and the values of your heritage. It's about your heritage, where you come from, your spiritual well - being. Spiritual well- being means searching for meanings and the purpose of your life and the way you live it. Taking care of yourself and who else is around you,can lead to peace and forgiveness.
Taha Whanau
Family health is kind of a matter of family emotions ,pride ,choices and beliefs. Some families need discipline some need to be proud of themself instead of getting angry and give up so don’t give up, keep trying and don’t give up until you are complete and also think positive not the negative. The trust you have for your family is more important because if you don’t trust them they won’t trust you and that will be hard in life. Taha Hinengaro
Facts This wall represents the mind and emotions of a person. Any events, either bad or good, have a bad or good effect of the person. It also represents the person’s thoughts, and with many bad thoughts, develop a bad and sick mind. The wall also represents the person’s representation of things around them, and how it makes them feel. The choices they make come from their mental health and the way they nurture it. Any thoughts affects their communication to many people, to many relationships.

The Derpy Bird

Hello again my audiance this is my story that kia manawanui had to write for there myths and legend inquiry task. Hope you injoy.

The Derpy Bird

Long ago when the dinosaurs and cavemen were still alive
A young man called Trevor adventures the wilderness with his almighty strength. But one day Trevor saw a cave on a beach with rocks ten times sharper than Michael Myers machete, but everyone knew that Trevor is an adventures person and this meant that of course he was going to explore this cave.

And so with his first steps into this dark and mysterious cave, he knew something was watching him but who knew what it was. He slowly walked through the cave like a fox trying to hunt his prey. He eventually ended up getting to a dead end and turned around Drip Drip the water dripped from the ceiling of the cave and fell to the ground with a splash. Slowly out of the corner of his eye he saw a big scary and so cute bird. The bird was derpy and had funny looking eyes and a mouth that looks like a three, having rainbow fur as well. Also this derpy bird was as fluffy as a BIG PINK FLUFFY UNICORN. But also he was very cute. After this day Trevor became obsessed with the bird and he became its adventuring buddy slaying dinosaurs together and eating marshmallows together. And after a few days Trevor named him… the derpy bird.

But one day the two were separated when water bigger than boulders hit them causing them to split in two different ways. From this day trevor has been a low life person not adventuring or doing anything, but after a few years he died from a disease called EBOLA. While this was in process the derpy bird found a new family, with his cavemen friends. They feed him, gave him water, nearly ate him but he could always just slap there hairy dirty faces. But after a while the bird got the news of Trevor dieing.

Sad and dizzy the derpy bird nearly cried himself to sleep but then the ground started shaking and rumbling and knocked the derpy bird of his feet. With a BANG and a BOOM the landscape was changing very fast and if the bird didn't get out of there he would get slayed by the avalanche. So he ran and ran and ran. With his rainbow fur falling off he started to cry and cry and run faster and fast.

Till this day the bird keeps running faster and faster and maybe you will see him and his rainbow feathers falling off. This is also called a rainbow. Well the rainbow bird runs faster and faster and also crys and crys but eventually he took his last breath on earth as a derpy bird. But this bird has relatives but are not called derpy birds but are called ostridges.

Matariki Year Goals

Hello these our my Year Goals. These have been set in the first place because they are relating to Matariki. Why Matariki, because this is a maori new year and Matariki means the seven sisters and this tells people that its a good time to plant and celibrate. But the reason for me doing this is because its also a good time to see what you want, what you want to happen and what your looking foward too. So hope you injoy.

Another Fail!

Another wonderfull fail me and Wille done trying to answer the other question but was forced to stop because of this pop up. OMG I'm so frustrated

I did it

I finally did it, I completed a question on the highest difficulty of this game saying even though I didn't read instructions Willy ended up looking at them, but by the way this is the highest difficulty on the game.

This is so frustrating

This game is so frustrating, if you get the same question wrong FOUR times in the highest level, um, it would ask you to go tell the teacher. No, ASK the teacher for help. Um, at the moment, the teacher was busy with testing, I was struggling a lot, 'cause I did not read the questions
