Albatross

The Royal Albatross

The Royal Albatross is a local bird to New Zealand and is part of the Seagull family .

An Albatross has big wings black and white markings and one of the top ten biggest becks. Its beck is sharp for eating the old fish on the beach and even leftover bits of food, and mammals like rats sometimes in the bush.
Albatross live near North shore other fishing spots and did you know that an Albatross was first found at chatham island and they mostly live in the south island of New Zealand because the sea is much bigger and filled with fish
Albatross eat fish as whitebait old fish on the beach like snapper and kawai and they even eat caterpillar i didn’t know that cool right.
An Albatross spends its day catching its prey,it sits on decks. And did you know that there breeding is endangered, thats the most interesting fact on  the Royal Albatross .
A Royal Albatross has wings twice the size of your arms, its wings are used to fly long distances. It flys up to 3.3 km an hour and the time it use to fly in a year is 190 000 cool!

My Aiga Poem

WALT write and present an Aiga poem about our ancestors and culture, and how we feel about them

I am a Warrior

I am a warrior of Maori and I am proud of it
I come from the family of Tikitiki and come from the Maori country New Zealand
My Ancestors are shining on me like beautiful  angels
I am a Maori boy and I am proud of it
